The whole middle syndicate went to swimsafe at water world last week.
I was in Nicky's group. In my group there was Matthew,
Blake and Jack.
We learnt a lot of things like backstroke, free style and breast stroke. We learnt how to be safe in deep water ad how to rescue people.  On the last day we got to go outside and the pool was freezing.  Splash Attack was fun.  Mum bought some chips to warm us nand Mrs w bought us chocolate because she said we swam like fish. We had a real fun week.

We made ice cream it was so yummy.
If you want to make easy ice cream you will have to listen to the easy steps.
you will need......
.I big plastic bag.
.I little plastic bag.
.Ice.
.Salt
.Sugar
.Milk.
.You can add a flavour.
.Bowl.

1.In the little bag you need to put 1/2 cup of sugar then put 1 cup of milk and 1 teaspoon of flavours.
2.In the big bag you need to put 2 trays of ice then 6 tablespoon of salt.
3.Then put the little bag in the big bag.
4.Shake until the milk starts freezing
5.Then take the little bag out of the big bag.
6.Cut the end of the little bag.
7.Then squeeze out the ice cream out of the little bag and put the ice cream in a bowl.
8.Eat and enjoy your ice cream.

dairy farm

All the middle kids went to Miss Workmans boyfriends dairy farm.

I hated stepping in the pooo.....it was so yuck.

We tasted the milk I dont really like the milk it tasted a bit like cream.

It was very hot. I was burning so bad because someone was wearing my hat  and wouldn't own  up.

We got to see Miss Workman milk the cows in her purple overalls.  One of the cows pooped on her.

    

Making Grass Heads

How to make grass head people

Materials
-grass seeds
-yogurt container
-dirt
-stocking
-scissors
-goggly eyes
-a mouth
-a nose
-water
-sun shine

1.cut the stocking about 20cm long

2.Put two teaspoons of grass seeds into the stocking

3.Put a cup of soil on top of the grass seeds.

4.Tye the bottom of the stocking.

5.Decorate your head with goggly eyes and bits of material for your mouth and nose

6.Fill  up a yogurt container with water and put your head in it.

7. Wet your head.
8. Put your head in the sun.

Have fun making a grass head.

farm trip and rosies world

Me and Room10 are looking forward  to our  diary farm visit.  We are going to one of the teache'rs diary farms.
Room 10 have fun playing Rosies world. We have been learning how to milk cows. You have 3 ways to milk cows. the 3 ways are hand milking, machine milking and robotic milking.
It's fun.

Term 4
We are going on a trip to the diary farm. We can't wait to go.
I love art so our calendar art will be very cool and fun.
Athletics I dont really like running lots so I hope it will be fun to do.
Our trip to ngaruawahia-fun picnic day sounds like fun, I love having picnics because you gEt to eat lots and have fun playing around.
Swin safe at Water World will be so much fun. Its one of the best thing I love to do.
We will be making Christmas presents for our family. I love Christmas it is the best time of the year because you get lots of presents and have lots and lots and lots of fun
That is what we are doing in term 4.  Sounds busy doesn't it!

Production Sneak Peek

Room 10s production

We are the forest. I am a pukeko. I like being a pukeko because it is very fun and funny. We are doing the production with room 5. I am the leader of the pukekos. Its hard helping the little kids but it is fun. But im scared on stage.

Maths goal
I would like to learn my 8x,9x,4x,7x,6x tables.

Reading goal
I would like to move up to purple books in reading.

Writing Goal
I want to try to sound out words better so that I spell them correctly

Gymports

 In gym sport I am learning to do forward rolls straighter by tucking in my chin onto my chest and placing my hands flat on the mat. A perfect forward roll woud look staight and smooth.

In hexagons I am learning to round up to tidy ten like this.......    59+22=81
60+30=90-1-8=81.
In sound I am learning to measure sound with decibels.
