ANZACS

ANZAC's are Australian and New Zealand Army Corp's.

They are men and women. They are armed with artillery.

The ANZAC's are found in Gallipoli peninsula in Turkey.

The ANZAC's hid in trenches and fought so we can live freely. They also eat delicious ANZAC biscuits.




My sketch of me

In room 13 our class has made sketches of ourselves. First we looked in a mirror at our faces and looked at all the details. After that we started to sketch in our art book. Once you had finished sketching in your art book you go on to sketching on a big white peace of paper. Then once you have finished sketching on the piece of paper you start making a frame underneath. Next you make hands just like yours around the frame. Then when you have finished everything your teacher will glue the photo of you in the middle of the frame.

Swimming Sports

On Wednesday 5th March 2014 our class Room 13 and the rest of the Senior syndicate went to swimming at Waterworld - it was so much fun!  I went in the widths flutter board races for more points for my team Batten.  I also went in breast stroke and the class relay. We came 2nd against Room 12.  That was the best thing about Swimming Sports for me.  I liked swimming sports because the water was warm and we got to go in the out side pool afterwards.  But it was freezing out there so I went swimming for awhile then I quickly jump out and got changed. Next year I want to do lengths in breast stroke.

my goals for 2014

My goals for 2014:
* to be a librarian
*to be a House Captain
* get better at my spelling reading and writing

The things that I will do to try to achieve my goal of improving my spelling and reading is reading every day after school and practise my speling words

In the holidays

In the holidays me my family when to Papamoa Beach Camp Ground. I met my best friend Keasha, she lives in Tokoroa. When I was at the camp ground me, Keasha and her family all went in a little Fairry to at little island. We when swimming, then Keshas,me and cousins jumped off into the water from this huge wharf. That's what I loved about my time at Papamoa Beach Camp Ground.
