my goals for 2014

My goals for 2014:
* to be a librarian
*to be a House Captain
* get better at my spelling reading and writing

The things that I will do to try to achieve my goal of improving my spelling and reading is reading every day after school and practise my speling words


I really hope I achieve these goals

In the holidays

In the holidays me my family when to Papamoa Beach Camp Ground. I met my best friend Keasha, she lives in Tokoroa. When I was at the camp ground me, Keasha and her family all went in a little Fairry to at little island. We when swimming, then Keshas,me and cousins jumped off into the water from this huge wharf. That's what I loved about my time at Papamoa Beach Camp Ground.

athletics day

on athletics day i was the only 9 year old girl in my class. i really enjoined school athletics. i got into inter school  athletics for high jump. 

okey dokey HOKEY POKEY

in room 13 we made hokey pokey. we used 5 Tbsp sugar, 2 Tbsp golden sirep, 1tsp baking soda.
i really enjoyed making the hokey pokey apishly with Natalie j and me and  people in my group

room13 experiment

In room 13 we made green fizzy drinks.To make the green fizzy drinks we had to use green food colouring, icing sugar, water, cup or glass, lemon juiceand b soda. we mixed them together with a spoon. Mine went fizzy and it tasted like lemon. I really liked making the green fizzy drink and i am going to do that again and fed it to my mum.

Red Cabbage Indicator

On the 21st of October 2013 Room 13 did the red cabbage indicator experiement  for kitchen chemistry.

We put red cabbage with baking powder, lemon juice, egg white, orange juice, tomato, coca cola,

and then at the end we tested  red cabbage indicator using dishwashing powder,dishwashing liquid and milk.

Today all our class  made geometric patterns.  These are my geometric patterns. We had to get into 6 groups and then we made different patterns. You had to repeat the pattern.
